Here you can see a realtime show of part of the main character of DH: Takada.
It's work in progress, so there is room for a lot of improvements.
We have released a first version of an script for Blender that allows you to import a set of images(image sequence) and automatically animate their visibility inorder to get an animation.

Finally it's time to make public our educational project. And the title is DEAD HEADS!
Well maybe you don't know what Dead Heads is.
Dead Heads was a Manga drawn by Tsutomu Nihei few years ago. Apparently it didn't work very well and it was cancelled after the first release. So "Dead Heads" in fact is just one volume with around 40 pages.
It's not the best work from Nihei, of course, however as Nihei's fans we thought that it would be great to work on something from him. At the same time now Nihei's works are on the top (Knights of Sidonia, Blame!) so we prefered to choose one title that won't cause problems with copyright holders. Anyway as this project is educational, creative commons and non-profit there will be no problems about that.
So starting with this WIP picture we will be posting content about this project, from development posts to videotutorials.
And at the end, if everything goes as expected, you will have a free short movie of Dead Heads!
By the way "at the end" is undetermined as we don't have a release date or similar ;) Be patience.
Still we are not making public our first educational project. But right now we can let you know that the codename is DH and we can show you a little picture of the project.
Do you know what DH is? If so, please don't tell and keep the secret :)
This new 2015 will be very special for us so we hope it will be also special for you!
Happy New Year!
Videotutorial of the project ABC of Akari regarding the creation of a "basic" skin material in Blender.
The technique used here is based only on lights(lamps) and normals. Is reasonably fast and it gives a decent result. However for high quality results probably you should use other techniques (or mix this one with someone else).
AnigoAnimation will post tutorials and videotutorials related with the 3D Anime and its techniques.
As our main tool is Blender our focus will be precisely in that software but is also possible to make tutorials about other software or abstract techniques or theories.
